Abstract
he purpose of the current study was to identify the perception of Sandwich students on the recognition of the Sandwich programmes, employability of Sandwich graduates and the prospects of the Sandwich programmes. The researchers used descriptive survey as the research design. The questionnaire was planted online on respondents’ WhatsApp platform to collect data on the variables. In all, 220 students were used in the study. At the end of the study, the researchers found that the Sandwich mode of learning has become an integral part of tertiary education. Second, there seem to be some level of discrimination against Sandwich graduates as compared to graduates from the regular mode. Third, the prospects of Sandwich programmes run in institutions, to a greater extent, will be determined by the recognition of the school as well as the ability of its graduates to get employment. The implication for practice is discussed
