Abstract
Many hotels have sprung up in cities and towns across Ghana to provide food, drinks and other services to their customers. The Birim North District is among such towns where different types of hotels are operating. Different customers patronise these hotels. The study examines customer’s perception on hotel major products and services at Obaa Golden Plaza Hotel in Birim North District. Survey research design was employed for this study. The research covers a population of 150 customers that visit the hotel. Convenient sampling technique was used to select the customer from the hotel. Questionnaire was used as data collection instrument. According to 86.2% of the consumers, food serve by the hotel are right, visually attractive, tasty and flavorable, offers a variety of menu items, right temperature and offers healthy options. Furthermore, majority of the customers are satisfied about the product and services offered by the hotel. The study recommended that the owners of the hotel or the managers should maintain the food quality and service quality to continuously improve the satisfaction level of the customers.
