This study investigated the mediation effect of employee commitment on time management behavior and job performance. The study was conducted at three commercial banks known as Absa, Ecobank and UBA in Kumasi- Ghana. One hundred (100) employees from UBA, Absa, and Ecobank made up the study's population. By stratified sampling, the three (3) banks were put into sub groups and a simple random approach was used in selecting an approximate 27 employees from each of the three banks. As a result, the data analysis of 80 responders was highlighted. Structural Equation Model (SEM) from Amos (version 23) was used for the data analysis. The study adopted a descriptive survey and analysis such as exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, discriminant validity and reliability analysis from Cronbach Alpha was estimated using SPSS (version 23) and Amos (version 23).From the hypothesis, the findings revealed that time management behaviour has a direct effect on job performance and employee commitment. The study also found out that employee commitment has no significant effect on job performance and the mediating effect of employee commitment on time management behavior and job performance was insignificant. The results indicate that organisations should implement a suitable time management plan to deal with employees' time in order to assist them develop their time management skills, which would eventually help predict greater effectiveness in their job performance. The study found that there was no mediating effect between employee time management behaviour and job performance. As a result, future research should explore the role of other variables that may mediate the relationship between time management behavior and job performance.
