Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of corporate policies on employee
commitment at Fanmilk Ghana Limited, Kumasi. Descriptive research design was used
for the study, where the sample size comprised of one hundred and five (105)
respondents. The researcher made use of simple random sampling and the main data
collection instruments was questionnaire. In order to attain the general objective of the
study, the following specific objectives would be explored, to analyze the impact of
Health Benefit Policy on employee commitment within Fan Milk Ghana Company
Limited in Kumasi, to analyze the impact of Work safety Policy on employee
commitment within Fan Milk Ghana Company Limited in Kumasi, and to analyze the
impact of Code of Conducts Policy on employee commitment within Fan Milk Ghana
Company Limited in Kumasi. The study found that, the study found a significant
positive relationship between corporate policies and employee commitment.
Employees who perceived the corporate policies of Fanmilk Ghana Limited in Kumasi
more positively exhibited higher levels of commitment to their work. Based on the
study the following recommendations can be made: Improve communication channels
within the organization to ensure that corporate policies are effectively communicated
to employees. Transparent and open communication about policies, updates, and
changes can help employees understand and align themselves with the organization's
objectives, fostering a sense of commitment. Involve employees in the development or
revision of corporate policies. By soliciting their input, organizations can gain valuable
insights and ensure that policies are well-suited to their needs and expectations. This
participatory approach can enhance employees' sense of ownership and commitment to
the policies.
